A New Perspective on Life...

A friend of mine posted about this woman on her blog, and she inspired me to do the same...it is a must read! The author of this blog lost her baby girl to a tragic drowning accident in June of this year. She writes almost daily about her up's and down's, her good days and her bad days, and about her heartache and sorrow. She is a beautiful author and I found myself reading her blog for hours. She is an amazing woman, mother and wife! She is an inspiration to me in so many ways. Her faith is so strong and she has such an amazing testimony! If there is only one thing you get out of her story, it must be this....hug your loved ones, especially your little ones a little tighter tonight...you never know what our Heavenly Father has in store for us or for them in the future to come. It definately gives life a new perspective! Oh and a warning...it's a tearjerker!

I have started reading the same blog. And yes, she is very inspiring. I'm not sure I would have that kind of strength.

It is a very interesting blog. I find it interesting how many people comment on her blog and say that they lost a child, husband etc. I think she is helping a lot of people who have gone through the same thing.

I seriously have been crying for an hour now. What a sad story...She was such a cute little girl and it seriously seems so unfair but that happens and I don't know how people can handle losing a child.

Oh, I had to pull myself away! How horribly sad for them! She is a strong woman in her faith and I envy her for that. Did you read the story about the "comforter" it made me cry.

I was crying now just reading what her blog is about. It is such a good reminder to remember how fragile life is. These sweet babies are little pieces of heaven.

Rachelle, this is so sad, but I'm glad you posted the link. I think I remember the story about this little girl. I have a hard time reading stuff like this, it's so sad, I can't believe how strong this woman is and her amazing testimony. I seriously don't think I could handle it and get through it. Maybe reading her blog will help me be a stronger person!

Hey girl! I think we should totally go to lunch sometime soon. I can kind of rearrrange my work schedule to whenever so I'm flexible on when we could go. ANYTIME! I would love that! PS... your little man is so stinking cute!

I have actually been reading this blog for a while now, and can I just tell you how it has helped me. I have become so much more grateful for each day with Ellie, and it has helped me to focus on what really matters. I am glad you posted about it.

So good to hear from you! I love that you love the name Ryder, it's our favorite too. Ryder got his shirt at Gap earlier in the Summer, but I'll bet it's on sale now (Wahoo!) Tamara was telling me that you married the same Dustin you were dating a long time ago-that's awesome! It's so nice to be able to stay in touch!
