A Long Awaited Arrival...

The newest member of our family has finally arrived!! William Robert Beard was born Tuesday, January 29! After being a week overdue, Curtis and Cami are so glad that he is finally here! He weighs 6 lbs. 3 oz. and is 18 inches long. No wonder Cami's cute belly was half the size of mine....he is so tiny!! He makes Ko look like a giant! Kohen was so excited to meet his new cousin...he kept trying to touch Will's face...it was pretty cute! I love the stage that Ko is at right now, but there is NOTHING like a newborn!! They are so perfect and innocent! It makes me more excited to be able to one day have another one! We love you Curtis, Cami and William!

How long have you been married? It will be 2 years in May

How long did you date? How long??!! We "went out" in 9th grade, then dated our sophomore & junior years, then had a break, then started back up again right after graduation....the rest is all history!

How old his he? 24

Who eats more? He eats the most, but I gain the most weight....something's not right here!

Who said I love you first? I did! Well I actually said something like "Love ya" but I still like to give myself the credit!

Who is taller? Dustin by far!

Who can sing better? I'm going to have to say me.....Dustin doesn't even know how to stay on key!

Who is smarter? We both are...I am more book smart, and Dustin is more street smart!

Who does the laundry? Me, but he tries to wash his work clothes, and he usually helps me hang everything up! He's a sweet man :)

Who does the dishes? Both of us HATE when dishes are left in the sink, so we both keep up on the dishes!

Who pays the bills? Me

Who mows the lawn? Dustin...I tried once and he told me I suck at it!

Who cooks dinner? I do for the most part, but Dust does on the days I work. He loves to BBQ a lot too!

Who kissed who first? He kissed me. He was so nervous!

Who asked who out first? Dustin...in the hallway by my locker in 9th grade!

Who proposed? He did of coarse! In front of his whole fam-damly!

Who has more friends? Dustin has a lot of friends, but I stay in touch with my friends better than he does.

Who is more sensitive? Ever since Kohen was born, it's really been a toss up!

Who has more siblings? Me: 3 bro's & 1 sis Dust: 1 bro & 1 sis

I love my cute hubby! He just brought me home some beautiful roses because I was having a hard day!! I am so thankful for all he does for our family! Sometimes I complain a little too much, but in all reality, he is just about perfect!

Our Little Trooper

Just a little update on Kohen.....


Well since he's been born, Kohen has been in the E.R. for Dehydration (the day we took him home from the hospital, he decided that he didn't want to drink mommy's milk anymore ), he had a roaring eye infection a week after he was born, the flu twice, a cold about 3 times, and he got RSV on Thanksgiving and is still struggling with it. Well now he has a double ear infection! Our poor little man is such a trooper! He's definately had his grumpy moments....if you had a double ear infection you would be pretty grumpy too!! He still has a pretty nasty cough from his RSV, but I think he is finally getting better! He is on some antibiotics for his ear infections, and he is already feeling like his usual happy self and for the most part sleeping through the night again! We love our cute little man!

8 Months Already!!

Well I can't believe how fast time flies! Kohen turned 8 months old on Thursday! Pretty soon he's going to be a year old! We have had so much fun these last 8 months...Dustin and I still look at eachother and say "Is any of this real?!". Kohen has definately have learned a lot in the last 8 months! Right now he loves to stand up ( with some assistance of course ), trying to learn how to crawl ( and hating every minute of it :) ), getting mom and dad's attention by yelling at us, eating anything he can get his hands on, trying new foods, playing with that cute baby in the mirror, taking a tub, playing with all of his cute cousins, and giving loves to his mom and dad! Just so you know Ani...I tagged you days before Rach did! But since it's Christmas, I am not going to be a scrooge, and I am going to do it!
I am suppossed to write 7 things I love about CHRISTMAS!!

1. The MUSIC! I never get sick of Christmas music...I would play it all year if Dustin wouldn't make fun of me for it!

2. The SNOW! I love love love snow! Once again, Dustin and I don't agree with that too much...But if I had to work in the snow, I might not appreciate it much either :)

3. FAMILIES getting together for the holidays! It can get frustrating with all the parties that you have to go to, but I just love to be with everyone on such a wonderful occasion.

4. The FOOD!! I love food! Especially all the holiday food (turkey, mashed potatoes, SWEETS etc.)

5. The DECORATIONS! Christmas is my favorite holiday to decorate for! I love putting up our tree together, and it was so nice this year to be able to do it as a family!

6. Going to see the LIGHTS! I love walking around Temple Square to look at the lights! I'm pretty upset thought because we have yet to do it this year!

7. And of course I love the true meaning of Christmas! I can't wait to teach Ko about the birth of our Savior and what Christmas is all about!

BIG BUDHA!

So this morning I was getting Ko out of the bathtub and I noticed that something was a little different. I couldn't figure out what it was until I got him in some clothes.....It was his big BUDHA BELLY!! His belly just all of the sudden "popped" out! I swear it wasn't like that yesterday! But I did remember that he had just barely eaten a huge bowl of rice cereal. I had to take a few pictures to share with you! I looked at some that I took of him yesterday, and I definately think that the cereal did contribute to his huge belly....but it still is bigger than it was just a few days ago! I hope this doesn't become a new nick name for him. He already has too many as it is!

I've been Tagged! I must say that I do feel pretty special, since this is my first time being Tagged!
I am suppossed to write 7 random things about myself and then tag 7 other people. I hope I am doing this right, so here it goes....

1. I love being a mommy! You'll never understand how it feels to be a mom until you have a child of your own, but just take my word for it that it is truely amazing! I think those of you who have kids know exactly what I am talking about :)! To know that Dust and I are the only ones that know Kohen from the inside out makes me feel so important! I love everything about being a mom and I am truely blessed to have Kohen in my life!

2. I LOVE kisses!! I love kisses from anyone that will give them to me....especially Dustin and Kohen! Kohen's are definately a little more slimy than Dust's, but I will take what I can get!

3. I am addicted to vaccuuming! I don't know why I have such a strange addiction. I guess I just need to know that my floor is always clean.

4. I love chocolate ice cream! We can't even keep any ice cream in the house because if we did, I would eat it all within days!

5. I've only been snow skiing once in my life....I was a senior in high school. For some reason we decided to go night skiing, and let's just say that I don't recommend night skiing for first timers! I fell off a cliff and broke my thumb! NOT FUN! I told Dustin that he needs to take me skiing this year, and this time I want to go during the day!

6. Even though I am DEFINATELY not ready to be pregnant again, I am still looking forward to the delivery of our next child. Giving birth to Kohen was a breeze...I didn't even break a sweat! We'll probably start trying next fall, when Ko is about 18 months or so.

7. And last, but definately not least, I love my sweet sweet husband! He works so hard to try to give us everything that we want and need! He is truely an amazing person and I am so gratefull that we are a family!
