Go Archi!!!

Well I hate to say it, but it's true....Dustin and I are OBSESSED with American Idol!! And we both are OBSESSED with David Archiletta....or as Randy calls him, Archi! It's not just because he's from Murray, or because he's kind of cute (a 17 year old kind of cute)......but it's because he has an AMAZING AMAZING voice!! On Tuesday he sang a John Lennon song, "Look at all The People" and I got chills!! His mom was crying, Paula was crying, and to be honest my eyes might have teared up just a little :) It was just such a moving performance and I hope he goes all the way...he definately deserves it!! Go Archi!

Our Weekend Trip to Sand Hollow

Last weekend we took a trip to Sand Hollow for the holiday weekend. It was so nice to get out of this nasty inversion and go down south where it's nice and warm! We set up camp when we got there, but it got too windy and a little colder than we anticipated, so we decided to go stay at my parent's house in St. George. It was nice to be able to go out and have fun in the sand, but to be able to go and take a shower at the end of the day! We took our four wheeler and Ko rode with Dall, Jess and Aspen in thier Rhino. He loved it....it put him to sleep every time we would go on a ride! I guess we are going to have to get one for our family too :) Other than the wind at night, it was great weather and we all even got some sun on our faces! Ko wasn't too sure about the sand...maybe he'll like it a little more next time when he can walk around in it! I can't wait for summer!!!

He did it!!

Since day one, Kohen has hated being on his tummy. And when I say that he hates being on his tummy, that is an understatement! Ever since he was born, he screams and cries during tummy time. We have tried to get him to crawl, but he hates that too! He either collapses onto his tummy or he just rocks back and forth and then sits down on his bum. We just kind of figured that he was going to go straigt to walking ( he loves to hold onto anything he can and walk up and down all the furniture). But last night he finally did it....he crawled!! He is still pretty shakey, but we were so shocked that it actually happened! After we shot this video he did it a few more times and he did a lot better when the camera was off. He has done it a few times today, but he still gets mad! This might just have been a fluke...we'll have to see what happens in the next few days....

A Beautiful Day!

Today was such a beautiful day! It makes me sad to think that we are getting another storm tomorrow!! I took a long nap with Ko this morning (I worked until 6:00 this morning so I needed a nap) and we woke up to sunshine! We haven't really had an opportunity to get out lately, so we decided to take a walk. Kohen loved it! He loves when the cool air hits his face...he just laughed the whole time. Anyway, I hope everyone has enjoyed this beautiful day and I can't wait until we can get more of them!!
