Cute Story

Sorry, no pics on this post, just a short little story. Last night after I got Ko dressed in his jammies, I sent him into the bathroom to go brush his teeth. It takes him a good 5 minutes to brush, so I sat down in the kitchen and waited for him to finish. He ran in, yelled "ALL DONE" and grabbed my hand to go rinse his toothbrush out. We went and rinsed it out in the sink and I said to him " Are you ready to say prayers? " He threw his toothbrush in the drawer, slammed it shut, ran into his room and kneeled down on the floor by his rocking chair. Too cute!! Now if he would only learn how to fold his arms and actually stay quiet during the prayer!!

Too Old, Too Quick!

Kohen is going to be 18 months old on Monday!! It's been awhile, so I thought I would give a little update on him. It's kind of hard and kind of sad to see him leave the baby stage, but on the other hand it's pretty exciting to see him learn new things! So here are some of the funny things he is doing lately...

He LOVES to say hi to everyone. In fact, if he says hi to you and you're not paying attention, he will walk up to you, grab your face so that you are looking at him, and say ""HI"!

He climbs on everything! The other day I went in his room to see what he was doing and he had climbed up 2 of the shelves in his closet. I asked him what he was doing, and all he could say was "hi"!

He loves babies! I think that's an understatement actually. He loves his little cousins to death. He has to rub their heads and give them loves everytime he sees them. The other day we went to see my friend Lisa's baby. Jamilyn was holding her, and all he wanted to do was crawl up on her lap just so he could love the new baby. It's pretty freakin' cute!

He doesn't say too much yet, but he can say mommy, daddy, Rambo (our dog), thank you, cheese, no (of course), ouch, hi, oh and he thinks that every animal says " arf arf".

He loves his dog. Every morning he goes into our room to find Rambo on his dog bed. He has to go lay down next to him and give him loves while saying "arf arf arf". It's hilarious!! Too bad Rambo doesn't feel the same way about Kohen. He pretty much runs from him every time he sees him!

He loves being outside, helping mommy vacuum the floor, playing in the tub, sleeping, wrestling with his daddy, cuddling with his mom (only if the timing is right), chasing Rambo, helping in the kitchen, doing forward rolls, being stubborn, telling us "no", brushing his teeth (he's obsessed...seriously), playing clean-up, going up and down the stairs (once again...obsessed), playing with mommy's high heels ( dad isn't too happy about it), and brushing his hair.

Here are a few pictures that my sister-in-law took of Ko last week. She did a GREAT job, and got some great shots of Ko's personality! She just started her own photography business, so you should check it out....camrinbeardphotography.blogspot.com
